We’re Focused on What Matters Most Right Now in Rochester

At the Junior League of Rochester (JLR) we live in the moment. Our work evolves to support the current needs of our community.

We are operating our expanding diaper bank, supporting our partner agencies, targeting our public affairs initiatives and enhancing our member training. So far we have increased our diaper distributions to our nonprofit partners, held community diaper distributions, and partnered with several local nonprofits to help support their work; and we are working to enhance our partnerships, further integrate our public affairs initiatives, and continue to lift our sisters through membership training and development.

Our goal is to help Rochester women develop civic leadership skills through the work they do, then put those talents to work in the communities that need it.

We’re Creating Fulfilling Leadership Opportunities Throughout Rochester

The JLR offers so much more than local volunteering opportunities! Our League of leaders creates real change by advancing social activism-focused projects that directly benefit the communities of Rochester. By giving women the tools to lead, educating them about their communities’ needs, and helping them put their unique brand of creativity and skill to work, JLR is making a big impact on our community.

We’re Transforming Rochester Communities By Challenging the Status Quo

No matter what we’re currently focusing on, JLR’s work centers around improving our local communities through effective action and leadership. We have identified diaper need as a pressing issue in our community right now, and we are helping local women take action to resolve it.
