Start Your Journey with the Junior League of Rochester!

We’re so excited you’re considering joining the Junior League of Rochester (JLR)! Becoming a member means stepping into a community of women who lead with purpose, act with courage, and make a meaningful impact across Rochester.

Your JLR experience begins with an Orientation Session—an engaging introduction to who we are, what we do, and how you can get involved. This session gives you the chance to:

  • Learn about JLR’s mission, values, and structure
  • Discover how we develop women leaders
  • Meet current and incoming members
  • Find the place where you can thrive

Your New Member Experience

Once you decide to join the League, you’ll begin a warm and welcoming onboarding experience designed to help you grow, connect, and contribute right away:

As a New Member, You Will:

  • Attend an Orientation Session
  • Pay League member Annual Dues
    • Financial assistance and scholarships are available
  • Be paired with a mentor who will guide you through your first year
  • Participate in social events, trainings, and volunteer opportunities
  • Complete a Member Compact (a personalized engagement plan)
  • Be placed on a Committee that matches your interests
  • Celebrate your induction into Active Membership! ?
