JUNIOR LEAGUE PROVISIONALS SPEND SUNDAY WITH SENIORS

(Rochester, N.Y. – December 1, 2014) The Junior League of Rochester (JLR) brought autumn excitement to residents at Crest Manor Living & Rehab Center in Perinton on Sunday, November 16. The “Fall Festivities with JLR” event featured a variety of seasonal activities, including board games, a photo booth, frame painting, and more. Homemade refreshments came from the pages of the JLR’s signature cookbooks, Applehood and Motherpie and For Goodness Taste. Crest Manor residents participating in the afternoon received toasty lap blankets handmade by JLR members, as well as potted Kalanchoes donated by the JLR Garden Club.

As part of the Junior League of Rochester’s admissions process, all Provisional members must plan and execute a volunteer project. The eight women making up the Junior League of Rochester’s Fall 2014 Provisional Class conceptualized and planned the afternoon under the guidance of JLR Active member Erin Wedemeyer.
