SHOP, SIP, OR PAINT: JUNIOR LEAGUE OF ROCHESTER ANNOUNCES FUNDRAISERS FOR ALL TASTES
(Rochester, N.Y. – September 25, 2014) The Junior League of Rochester (JLR) has announced partnerships with three local businesses for a variety of upcoming fundraising events. All events are open to the public and proceeds from the events help support the Junior League’s mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve the lives of women and children throughout the greater Rochester community.

Tuesday, October 7, 6-9 p.m.: Shopping Event at Alex & Ani
Come enjoy some refreshments at the contemporary and trendy Culver Road Armory and peruse the beautiful, energy-infused jewelry. Alex & Ani will donate 15% of all sales back to the JLR. Perfect for those who plan ahead for holiday shopping or simply want to add a bracelet to their growing jewelry collections!

Tuesday, December 2, 6-8 p.m.: Taste and Tour Black Button Distilling
Come check out the spot that has revived Rochester’s storied history of liquor production! The boys at Black Button Distilling will offer two tours (6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.), as well as the opportunity to try a few of their signature creations. Black Button will donate 10% of bottle sales back to the JLR.

Monday, January 12, 7-9 p.m.: Painting with a Purpose at Painting With A Twist
By popular demand, the Junior League is excited to announce its first social painting night! Try your hand at the sip-and-painting craze while supporting the JLR, which will receive 50% of the profits from this event.
